A.D.A. PAVING STONES

A.D.A. Paving Stones

The A.D.A. (American Disabilities Act) Truncated Dome Pavers are most often used to aid the visually impaired. These pavers provide raised truncated domes that are easy to detect underfoot, and by cane. Anywhere you can use concrete pavers you are able to use these A.D.A. pavers. The textured walking surface can help inform pedestrians of potential hazards.

R.I. Lampus Company A.D.A. Truncated Dome Pavers meet the following requirements set forth in ASTM C 936, Standard Specification for Interlocking Concrete Paving Units:

      • Average compressive strength of 8,000 psi with no individual unit under 7,000 psi.
      • Average absorption of 5% with no unit greater than 7% when tested in accordance with ASTM C 140.
