Concrete masonry units can be safely recovered and recycled thus diverting construction waste from landfills. Unused concrete masonry units can be recovered for use on another project and if wooden pallets are used to ship blocks they can be returned for reuse and pallet deposit credit. |
MR (Materials and Resources) CREDIT 4: |
ECO-CMU™ currently is produced with 40% post-industrial recycled material. The product recycled value can be calculated as 40% of the concrete masonry material cost. |
